Gun dealers and their employees play an integral role in preventing gun violence: They are on the front lines of defense in stopping guns from falling into the wrong hands of people intent on doing harm.
But due to a lack of oversight, regulations, and training, some gun dealers negligently sell firearms that are funneled into the illegal market — causing urban Black and Brown communities across the country to suffer while the gun industry profits off the senseless bloodshed.
