Be a Part of The Youth-Led Movement to End Gun Violence!

Team ENOUGH’s youth-led grassroots chapters are on an unapologetic mission to free America from gun violence. We’ve had ENOUGH of gun violence — the leading cause of death for American youth — plaguing our daily lives, and we’re done with the empty “thoughts and prayers” from our elected leaders.

Sign up to join a Team ENOUGH chapter in your community.

Whether you want to help organize a community event, meet with lawmakers and push for gun reform, or simply spread the word about the need for action to prevent gun violence — Team ENOUGH has a place for you. Together, we will be the generation that ends gun violence!

Please note: You must be 13-26 to join a Team ENOUGH chapter. No previous experience is required.

What Do Team ENOUGH Chapters Do?

Team ENOUGH’s grassroots chapters educate communities about the state of gun violence in the U.S., its root causes, and solutions to prevent it. We organize students, community members, school leaders, and more to take action — while also learning new skills and making new friends.

Each Team ENOUGH chapter has leaders who help their members strategize, plan, and organize every step of the way. The Team ENOUGH Executive Council  — the governing body of Team ENOUGH — also guides chapters and facilitates relationships between chapter members and Brady staff, who are available to share their professional expertise. Together, we are united in our mission to change the laws, the gun industry, and the culture of firearms in America.

Where Are Team ENOUGH Chapters Located?

There are 38 Team ENOUGH chapters across the United States. If you want to join a Team ENOUGH chapter, but there isn’t one in your community, you can create a new one. Please use the form above or email us at [email protected] to learn more and get started. No prior experience or knowledge is needed — just a belief that gun violence is a problem, and we can do something about it!

Team ENOUGH Chapters in Action

Fighting on behalf of all victims of gun violence — Team ENOUGH chapters have organized and mobilized thousands of young people to help change the laws, industry, and culture surrounding firearms. We meet with lawmakers, take action in the courts, and work across communities to change how we think and feel about guns.

    Changing Laws

California has some of the strongest gun laws in the nation — and that’s, in part, because of Team ENOUGH’s San Diego, Los Angeles, and Bay Area chapters.

Starting in 2020, grassroots members built support for local ordinances to regulate ghost guns, which are unserialized and untraceable firearms. Ghost guns have been used to harm countless Americans, including leaders of Team ENOUGH, like Mia Tretta, who was shot and injured by a ghost gun at Saugus High School in 2019. After months of organizing and advocacy, Team ENOUGH made history by helping pass ordinances to regulate ghost guns in cities like San Diego! Importantly, these local ordinances acted as a model for the state of California to ban ghost guns, which it did in 2022.

    Changing the Industry

The gun industry is responsible for fueling gun violence in communities nationwide.

In 2022, Team ENOUGH Washington, D.C., joined Brady and others in filing an amicus brief to uphold the district’s ban on firearms on the metro. We joined this brief to make clear that allowing firearms on public transportation would be a recipe for disaster — as more guns do not make safer — especially for youth and underserved communities who rely on public transit.

In the aftermath of it all, D.C’s ban on firearms in the metro was upheld in a major victory for public safety and young people.

    Changing the Culture

While changing laws and policies is important, we know that it's not the only solution to our country's gun violence crisis. We must change our cultural norms around firearms and firearm safety, too. That's why Team ENOUGH works to build awareness about the importance of secure firearm storage.

Providing information and resources to communities is a vital way to increase secure firearm storage. Chapters like Team ENOUGH Lexington have hosted events to distribute gun locks and talk to community members about the risks of unsecured firearms in the home. In just one hour, they handed out 100 free gun locks to community members!
