Virginia is one of the 30 states that offers no-excuse absentee voting. The Mother of States also provides both in-person and online voter registration. Unfortunately, Virginia does not allow same-day voter registration. Virginia does not have a plan to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to poll workers and in-person voters nor does it have a plan to provide pre-paid postage for absentee voters. Pre-paid postage is an important way to ensure all voters can exercise their right to vote-by-mail without a financial or time burden.
