New Jersey is one of the 30 states that offers no-excuse absentee voting; however, we still need voting reform in the Garden State. For one thing, New Jersey needs to protect poll workers and in-person voters and provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for those who will be present at the polls. New Jersey does not offer same-day voter registration or online voter registration, both of which are major impediments to people being able to register to vote.
