Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers ordered a special legislative session on gun safety to take place Thursday, November 7. The two measures before the legislature — universal background checks and extreme risk protective orders — are supported by 80% of Wisconsin voters, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald are threatening not to even consider the bills.
