UNIVERSAL ACTION BRIEF

Free America From Gun Violence

Brady is calling on the best minds in the advertising and media industries to join forces and develop a campaign designed to change the cultural narrative of guns in America.

For decades, the gun industry has relentlessly pushed the idea that more guns make us safer. But record levels of gun sales have not made us safer. Gun violence has become the number one cause of death of our children. Nearly 120,000 people are killed or maimed by guns every year. The impacts are traumatic and long-lasting.

This is a public health crisis that has been fueled by deliberate disinformation over decades. If we want to solve this problem, then we must change the narrative.

Join Brady in changing the culture of guns in America by bringing your creativity and expertise to our "Free America From Gun Violence" campaign.

Submit your information using the form below and we will send you our Universal Action Brief with details on the campaign and ways to get involved.

Brady's current culture change campaigns

In the "Free America From Gun Violence" campaign Brady is drawing on research from other successful culture change campaigns, insights from industry experts, and our own years of experience and learnings gathered from Brady’s current culture change campaigns.

End Family Fire

Gun owners must be a part of the conversation when it comes to preventing gun violence, because they are integral to the solutions. Our End Family Fire campaign, created in partnership with the Ad Council, promotes responsible gun ownership.

Show Gun Safety

Our #ShowGunSafety campaign works with the creative community to harness its power as culture-makers to create a safer America free of gun violence through actions, shown in TV and movies, that foster positive behavior change.

This Is Our Lane

Brady and This Is Our Lane elevate the voices of healthcare professionals on the frontlines of America’s gun violence epidemic.

"If you want to learn about a culture, listen to the stories. If you want to change a culture, change the stories."
